The sand felt like silk underneath the soles of our feet.
Not a soul was in sight, that night at the beach.
Perfection in our eyes, that florescent orb in the sky
Pushed and pulled the waves, while the tepid water splashed on our knees.
The waves reflecting all that was captured in time,
We gazed softly into the stars of each others eyes.
Bliss is the only word I can use to describe this scene, which has long since been forgotten,
And yet, for eternity it will forever exist in my hearts’ memory.
Although you have long since passed, today I stand where we once stood and stare at this,
florescent orb in the sky.
