Rainy Days (1)

In my imagination I dwell

with decoded blueprints

of the pyramids

I call upon the God of the Sun

to bestow on us

a ray of hope;

better yet,

Ill ask the Lord of Host…

I sit and gaze

through this four-pannelled window

covered in mist.

My mind hearkens back

to a time when the God of the Sun

would bestow on us a ray of hope. Then,

I come to reality to converse with the Lord of Host.

I speaks. “Fear not,

the light of the sun will fall(shine)

upon the crown of the one

who desires it most.”

I understand Lord, but please tell me why…

The heavens cry.

upturned lips form an unsavory visage\grimace.

The heavens cry.

I sought the light, and yet I am yet to find.

The heavens cry.

The days past, know at the end I’m feeling week.

The heavens wail.

Shrouded in misery

has your reign come to an end?

And if not, tell me why, the distorted faces and

contorted lips form a ghoulish grin. Upon those

who desire the light,

who desire the truth,

who desire clarity

Dazed and confused

I come to you in hopes that you

will shine a light upon my view.

The rain ends.

The reign begins.

In my mind

I made amends.
